This division was established in 1966. The main role of this division is to preserve all regional museums belongs to National Museums Department and the artifacts exist in school museums.
In addition pest control, books and document conservation (Including fumigation) are also carried out. Also this division conducts workshops to make aware the other departments, private institutions, Universities and schools about conservation activities presently, this division maintain a Ola leaf conversation centre and carryout Ola leaf conservation activities. This division has a staff of 10 persons including 4 officers.
