Colombo National Museum Park Renovation Project

The Colombo National Museum was opened to the public on January 1st, 1877. The front and side gardens were designed to further enhancement the attractive appearance of the museum building.

Up to now it has been the grass lawn that was initially set up. The lawn, which has completed 144 years of lifetime, is still in a state of disrepair. Also there was no drainage system and no system to supply water to the grass during the dry season. Therefore there was an urgent need to lay a new layer with a layer of barren soil on the surface. The Urban Development Authority prepared a land development plan to achieve the above functions. Following the procument procedure the project has been awarded and would be completed with 05 months.

We would like to express our deep regret over the misinformation that some people sharing above this project.
