The Inauguration ceremony of internal road development work of the Paleobiodiversity Museum Park of Ratnapura National Museum organized by the Ministry of National Heritage in collaboration with the Department of National Museums with financial support from provincial tourism Ministry of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council was held on 7 th March 2014 at Ratnapura National Museum premises under the patronage of Hon. W. D. J. Senewirathne, Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs and leader of Ratnapura district, Hon. Dr. Jagath Balasooriya, Minister of National Heritage and Hon. Athula Kumara Rahubadde, Provincial Minister of Road Development, Rural infrastructure facilities, tourism, sports and youth affairs of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council with the participation of the Secretary to the Ministry of National Heritage Dr. Nanda Wickramasinghe, Senior Assistant Secretary to the Ministry of National Heritage Mr. Vijitha Nanda Kumara, Ratnapura District Secretary Mr. Sunil Kannangara, Director of National Museums Mrs Sanuja Kasthuriarachchi.
