In addition following duties are performed by the section.

(i) |
Carry out the above functions in branch Museums & School Science Museums in the country. |

(ii) |
Library Conservation- Repair of damaged books, paintings magazines, maps & ola leaf manuscripts and carrying out fumigation. |

(iii) |
Providing of information & educating the researchers, university students & school children regarding preventive & curative Conservation. |
|
(iv) |
Conduct of workshops, training programmes & lectures on conservation to private museums & members of the public. |
|
(v) |
Pest & insect control work in the Museum, branch Museums and School Science Museums. |
|
(vi) |
Control of weeds (specially ficus Genus plants) which are damaging the buildings and walls of the Museum complex. |
